A town declared a Historic Arts Site, Briones is currently experiencing a lively renaissance with the restoration of historic buildings (the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Palace of the Marquis of San Nicolas, and the mansion in the square) and cultural traditions such as the Medieval Days.
In addition, the opening of cultural centers and must-see exhibition spaces, such as the extraordinary Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture, declared by UNESCO the best Museum of Wine Culture in the world. The Museum was founded in 2004 to educate about, disseminate, and interact with wine as a civilizing force. In it, you can travel through the history of wine culture from its beginnings until today, and it is one of the most recommended visits during your stay with us.

From Briones, it is easy to journey to visit Haro, with an obligatory stop-off in the Barrio de La Estación. This well-known spot has the largest concentration of century-old wineries in the world and is called the “golden mile” of Rioja wine.
Logroño is a place you must visit to feel the pulse of the street culture so crucial to our way of life. Strolling and tasting its bars’ delicious pinchos in the famous Calle Laurel is a must, as is visiting the Concatedral de Santa María la Redonda, the old City Hall, the Espolón, and legendary establishments such as the Café Moderno.
The monasteries of Yuso and Suso World Heritage Sites are located in San Millán de la Cogolla, less than an hour’s drive from our hotel, as well as other places with plenty of heritage and cultural richness such as San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Casalarreina, surrounded by vineyards, Sajazarra and its imposing castle, Cañas and the Roman bridge of Cihuri, among others.

Nature and sport combine perfectly in golf courses such as Rioja Alta Golf Club, located 25 km from Briones and just 5 km from Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Golf Logroño is 32 km away, and the Club de Campo Sojuela is 36 km away. They all offer a wide range of services and very comprehensive facilities (restaurant, swimming pool, paddle tennis courts, driving range, academy, etc.) for their visitors.
