With June comes an unmissable annual event in Briones, the Jornadas Medievales 2024, a festival declared of National Tourist Interest and one of the celebrations that we most feel and live in the village.
Our town, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, precisely because of the urban and architectural legacy left by the Middle Ages in our streets, experiences on June 15 and 16 a real journey through time, Walking its streets and thanks to a thorough characterization of the brioneros and brioneras rediscover ancient professions and traditions, roam our streets carters, falconers, scribes and archers, among many others. You can also witness a sword fight between Castilians and Navarrese, a witch hunt by the Holy Inquisition, see children’s games typical of the time, meet lepers and vagabonds. A spectacle worthy of witnessing that takes us to live a very unique and magical festive experience.
For two days and within the extensive FESTIVITIES PROGRAM you can enjoy the art of pipers, minstrels and medieval games, as well as concerts and dances.
