The Night of San Lorenzo, when the rain of stars fills the sky with magic, in Rioja is celebrated with two uninterrupted days of tastings and music.
On August 13, the Briones Wineries open their doors and and host a guided sampling and winetasting for all visitors, both those who are new to the culture of wine as well as those who love and are introduced to its culture. To round off the weekend, on Saturday, August 12, the wineries of San Vicente de la Sonsierra will hold an open-house events as part of this celebration.

Musical Performances at Plaza de España.
- At 1:00 p.m. Folk dancing by the dance group “Villa de Briones.”
- From 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Twin Room musical performance.
- From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The local dance group tours the wineries alongside the Gaita (bagpipe) and Tamboril (tambourine).
- From 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Trio Coppelia performance.
- From 11:00 p.m. La Guagua Disco Show.
The winetasting and sampling continue from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. alongside the “Villa de Briones” dance group, the Gaita and Tamboril.
