Santa María Briones Hotel receives the first and only Michelin Key in La Rioja
In April 2024, the Michelin Guide debuts a new distinction: the Michelin Key, a recognition of the world’s most outstanding hotels.
While the Michelin Star recognizes the most outstanding restaurants in the world, the Michelin Key does the same for hotels. A distinction that allows them to especially highlight the hotels that are the crème de la crème of their selection.
Santa María Briones has the honor and pleasure of having entered this rigorous list by receiving a Michelin Key. This recognition values design, excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service and the overall personality and character of the hotel establishment, its value for money and denotes excellence and an outstanding experience, in addition to its significant contribution to the environment.
It is a requirement to be included in such a select list not only to meet these criteria but also to be the best of the best in all categories. For this reason today we are especially happy and proud of the work we do every day so that each of our guests enjoy a unique experience.
